From 1 January 2026, CBAM reporting is required on an annual basis. The first annual report covering 2026 imports must be submitted by 30 September 2027. Throughout 2027, importers may also need to manage quarterly certificate procurement to cover estimated emissions.

Where actual supplier data is not available, default values are applied automatically to keep calculations complete. The platform shows clearly where default values are being used and what the cost impact is, so teams can assess reporting readiness before creating a report.

Yes. From 1 January 2026, only companies with authorized CBAM declarant status are permitted to import CBAM-affected goods. You must apply for this status before importing. Once authorized, the platform supports the full reporting workflow from import management through to report creation and submission.
